Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28th, 1998 at Los Angeles California) is an American actress, singer and voice actor. Ariel was only six when she began acting in commercials for Cool Whip. At the age of 7 she was offered her first television role on an episode of CBS's popular sitcom, Listen Up! After that, she landed appearances on shows such as Monk Bones and ER. Gretchen appeared on the Disney Original Channel animated show Phineas and Ferb in 2007. Two years later she had her breakthrough live-action character as Alex Dunphy on the hit television show Modern Family. Ariel, along together with Modern Family's Modern Family cast have won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in the field of Comedy Series four times. Ariel is still doing voice-over for films like ParaNorman Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a belted in purple in Taekwondo. She's younger than the actors Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. She is a singer and sings with the band WickedSweet. She is also involved in environmental charity work for green living. In 2012, her elder sister applied for guardianship on her behalf, asserting that she had been physically and mentally abused from her family members.
