Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for A-levels. When discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman confessed she was regretting that she did not go to University. Coleman worked with a group known as In Yer Space at her school. They was in the stage production Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was well-received, and the play received positive reviews. Coleman was auditioning to join drama colleges in 2005, got Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman won two awards in 2007. In 2007, the British Soap Awards nominated her as best newcomer. The National Television Awards, she received the award for most popular newcomer. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was nominated in categories such as the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman is nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman will take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat picked her for the role due to her ability to work together with Smith, and that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the entertainment industry since 1987. The most popular of her work is her television work rather than films. Eva has played a variety of characters on TV, however two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. The former even earned her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations as well as gave her the chance to express her creative side through music.
