Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. The same year, She made her debut album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her most memorable performance came from 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained there ever since.
