Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of numerous well-known American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which has been running since 2002. Ina started her career for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents as well as the budget. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual challenge of the job, but quickly lost the interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. It took her 18 years to make the shop wildly successful, before she closed the store. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Then, a number of books were released and she also wrote magazine columns. Her Food Network television program also was launched and soon became a hit. Ina sells a variety of things, from food ingredients cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never gone to a cooking academy and has never been in a kitchen. She is known for her simple method of cooking, and her effortless take on entertainment. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
